VFW Essay Contest

Dale Scheidegger, member of VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), presented Riley Sorden with 1st place in the voice of Democracy Essay Contest. Morgan Hammes was third and Ashley Ribelin was a participant. Three places were awarded for the contest and two were from Royal Valley.
The three RVHS students will be the guest of honor at the dinner at VFW on January 25th at 6:30. This is the first time in at least 18 years Royal Valley has participated in the contest.
