RVHS music department had a very successful showing at State this past weekend! Varsity percussion got a perfect score!! Large group percussion and Hayden Berry's vibraphone solo only missed one point, and Hannah Bechtel's vocal solo got a 1!!
Panther Percussion made a clean sweep two years in a row at State!! Two of the ensembles got a perfect score. Mariah Zavala's flute solo also got a 1 and the flute trio missed a 1 by one point for a total of 33 gold medals.
Vocal music also made a clean sweep with their trio and two solos for 5 gold medals and and a grand total of 38 gold medals at State for the RVHS Music Department.
