On Monday , April 29, JV softball beat Seaman in a doubleheader at Hoyt City Park! Their first game ended with a score of 14-2 and the second was 14-11. In game 1, Sydney Moss was dominant, pitching 10 strikeouts and only giving up 1 hit and 2 runs in 5 innings. In game 2, Royal Valley was tied in the bottom of the 5th inning with Seaman. Josie Shelton tripled scoring 3 runs for the 14-11 victory.
Sydney Moss expressed, "My pitching method is to just get on them early, get one or two strikes. I try to throw not as many balls and I try to keep it all strikes. I really don't get nervous because I get in the zone. During both of those games, I had multiple hits and a couple RBIs."
