On Tuesday, April 30, both the varsity and JV had a track meet at Nemaha Central. The meet was delayed for an hour during a tornado warning, but everyone was safe!
Gideon Burnworth got 1st place in boys pole vault for JV
Samantha Klotz got 1st place in the girls 200 meter dash and long jump for varsity
The girls 4x100 meter relay ( Isabella Wheeler, Devon Rodewald, Josie Shelton, ad Samantha Klotz) got 1st place for varsity
The varsity girls team ranking was 3rd place overall with 68 points total
The varsity boys team ranking was 5th place overall with 73 points total
JV boys placed 4th overall with 52.2 points
Devon Rodewald mentioned, “We were thrilled to have won the relay event. It’s a great accomplishment and confidence booster for our team. Our goal is to now clean up our handoffs, and focus on communication as a unit. I'm excited to see us reach our full potential as the season goes on!”
