On Friday, May 3, RVHS hosted a track meet. As a team both the girls and boys ended up in 1st place overall!
Manny Oliviero shared, "I have been practicing outside a little bit by running to prepare myself for regionals. My 4x100 team make a good team because we just got good chemistry. I hope we get at least 45 seconds at regionals. I want to go to state because I'm a freshman, and it would be pretty cool."
The following students accomplished placing 1st:
The girls 4x100 relay ( Samantha Klotz, Josie Shelton, Devon Rodewald, and Arianna Faulkner) placed 1st.
The girls 4x800 relay (Josie Shelton, Arianna Faulkner, Devon Rodewald, and Addilyn Lefferd) placed 1st.
Landon Gilbert placed 1st in the boys 110 meter hurdles and the boys 300 meter hurdles
Samantha Klotz placed 1st in the girls 100 meter dash, the girls 200 meter dash, and the girls long jump.
Dominick Schnider placed 1st in the boys 1600 meter run and the boys 3200 meter run
The boys 4x100 relay (Manny Oliveira, Turner Long, Peyton Thomes, and Nolan Bausch) placed 1st.
Buddy Lundin-Burger placed 1st in the boy 800 meter run
The boys 4x400 relay (Landon Gilbert, Buddy Lundin-Burger, Bowen Bryan, and Griffin Cumpton) placed 1st.
Rowan Warton placed 1st in the boys high jump
Addilyn Lefferd placed 1st in the girls pole vault
Josh Boyden placed 1st in the boys discus throw
Dasno Mills Placed 1st in the girls discus throw
