On Tuesday, December 17th, the boys basketball team played at Jeff West. The Panthers came into this game 2-1, fresh off of a great win against Valley Falls by 1. The game was tight, all the way through the first half with RV up by 5. In the second half, the Panthers couldn’t get any shots to fall, and they ended up losing the game 40-47. The leading scorer was sophomore, Landon Gilbert with 16 points.
Matthew Buskirk said, “We need to move past this game, and focus on the next one against Sabetha on Friday.”
The Panthers travel to Sabetha Friday in their last contest before winter break. Play will resume on Tuesday, January 7 as the Panthers travel to Hiawatha.
